Who We Are

Eau Claire Tree Trimming is a site operated by Eau Claire Tree Service, the tree service business of Rick Olson. We work out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and serve homeowners across Eau Claire County and the surrounding area. This site covers tree trimming, pruning, and tree care in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and across Western Wisconsin.

Eau Claire Tree Service also runs our main website at eauclairetreeservice.com. If you reach us through that site instead of this one, the same phone number and email below get you to the same person.

The Short Version

This site does not collect personal information. There are no contact forms, no accounts, no newsletter sign-up, and no tracking of any kind. We don't use advertising cookies or analytics, and we don't sell or trade information about visitors. The only information we hold is what you choose to tell us by phone or email.

What We Collect, and When

We collect nothing from your visit to this site. These pages don't run analytics scripts, don't set tracking cookies, and don't contain embedded forms, maps, chat widgets, or advertising pixels. We don't write anything down about you just because you loaded a page. Like any website, the services that deliver it, described below, can see technical connection details such as your IP address.

When you call (715) 834-5239 or email [email protected], we receive whatever you decide to tell us — usually your name, your phone number or email address, the address of the property where you want work done, and a description of the job. We use it to answer you, give you an estimate, schedule the work, and send an invoice.

Payment is arranged directly with us. We don't take card or bank details through this website.

Who Else Sees It

We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with the people and services that help us do the work and run the business:

• Our host. This site runs on Cloudflare Pages, which processes technical connection data — such as your IP address and browser — in order to deliver the page and keep the site running.
• Google Fonts. The fonts on this site are served by Google, so Google's servers see your IP address when the page loads. It's the only outside service we load anything from.
• Our email provider. Our contact address is a Gmail address, so Google handles the mail you send us.
• People who help us carry out the work. If a crew or a contractor works your property, they need to know where to go and what the job is.
• Service providers we use to run the business. An accountant or an insurer may need job and invoice details to do their job for us.
• Google Business Profile. If you leave a review on our Google Business Profile listing, that is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, not this one.

We also disclose information when we're legally required to — for example, in response to a court order or to comply with a lawful request.

How Long We Keep It

We keep the information you give us for as long as we need it: to finish the job, to answer follow-up questions, and to keep the business and tax records we're required to keep. We don't run a marketing list, so there's no reason for us to hold your details to send you offers.

You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time. We'll do that, except for records we're legally required to keep.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (715) 834-5239 or email [email protected] and Rick will handle it. We don't sell your information, so there is no opt-out to complete, and we don't follow you around other websites.

Children's Privacy

This site is for adults arranging tree work on their property. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update the date at the top of this page. The version you're reading now is the one that applies.
